about me

Hi. I'm Stephanie Levy.

Reformed lawyer, former model, and recovering perfectionist. Mother, daughter, sister, spouse.

But those are just labels. Beyond the roles and titles, which once held so much sway over my life, I'm a human having an incredible experience on this planet of happiness, heartache, challenges, and joy. Just like you.

Here's my story of transformation.

As a little kid, I loved nothing more than escaping into the woods behind our family home, climbing trees, losing myself in a world of fantasy, and finding magic everywhere.  But as the school years wore on, I turned away from my magical self in an effort to belong. I also became an overachiever, seeking external validation of my worth and value.

I left home to model internationally, then returned to Canada for law school. I got the grades, got the sought-after job, had kids, got married, and bought a home. Life checked all the boxes.

On paper I had "made it,” but inside, I struggled with feelings of inadequacy. Why did I still feel like an imposter? When was success going to feel good? Why was I so overwhelmed? Why was a numbing glass of wine my go-to answer? Why did every career move leave me so... empty? And when on earth had I lost touch with the core of who I really am?

A divorce and a couple of career moves later, I realized something needed to shift. I stepped away from law altogether, but that wasn’t it.

It was me. I needed to shift.

I started looking for what might be missing, seeking answers in books on self-development, psychology, and spirituality. I began a meditation practice and attended healing and personal growth workshops. I tried breathwork, floats, cold plunges, and yoga. While all of that was incredibly helpful, it was finally through the exploration of my internal world via psychedelic journeys and IFS that I found what I had been looking for: myself. Once I had peeled the back the layers of old narratives, protective coping strategies and limiting beliefs, I rediscovered my true self. I had been there all along -whole and wise, magical and good.

I now have greater access to compassion, inner peace and confidence. I've learned to embrace change, let go of burdens, and find joy and wonder in the infinite potential that lies in the unknown. Is it always easy? Heck no. It's the human experience, after all. But when life inevitably presents challenges, I know how to face them with a greater sense of equanimity and grace. It would be an honour to walk alongside you as you return to self.

a bit more about me...

I have four kids from the age of 6 to 24. Three of them are boys.

I live in Toronto with my husband, our two youngest kids, and a dog named Banjo.

We also have a farm. Some of my favourite days have been spent raising chickens, free-ranging toddlers and growing my own food.

My core values are love &

compassion, learning & wisdom,

growth & expansion, and humour & levity.

I believe in magic. I talk to trees. I wish on stars. I lose my keys and phone 239,487 times a day.

I see the good and the love in everyone.
